Looking for purpose, connection, or a reason to get up in the morning?

Join ACDAF, a user-led group of disabled people in Calderdale. Your lived experience matters, help us make Calderdale more accessible and inclusive for all. It is the lived experience that directs and shapes our project work to develop improved access and inclusion for all. We are the only organisation in Calderdale offering disabled people the opportunity to gain experience, training and support to try a range of volunteering.

How much time do I need to give?

From one-off events and helping out, to our steering group monthly meetings, attending focus groups, or helping with reviews of parks/venues, or be part of our training team,

Whatever way you want to be involved or, how much time you have is completely up to you.  We are here to make sure it fits in with your life.

Can I volunteer from home?

Yes. Many activities are online.
