Calderdale Direct Payment Support Group presents:-

Not Another Assessment

When – Wednesday November 12th at 6.00pm to 8.00pm

Where – Online (Zoom)

Join us on Zoom for a friendly, easy to understand session on National Guidance and Legislation for Direct Payments.

• This session is suitable for people wishing to understand children, young people and adult assessments

• We will cover the different range of assessments within health and social care

• The process to access an assessment will be explained

• We will talk about who to make contact with and who should be involved

• We will cover the processes to appeal when an unfair decision is made

We will be running 3 outreach workshops for family and disabled led organisations so do get in touch if you want us to join one of your sessions.

We run a closed group for anyone receiving Social Care to share ideas, knowledge, and support.
